Two words for you on this Saturday night. Mark Walsh. Readers familiar with the book will know this reference. For those who have not read the book yet, you will get to know him! And like him. I think… ;)
Hope everyone is well and having a good weekend.
Why are they so crush-worthy? We all love a good male lead. The best part about them (when written well) is that they just ooze sex appeal. That sex appeal can be defined by extreme good looks, personality, charm, that specific sparkle that makes them realistic to the point of believable but fantastical enough to be unobtainable. They are so close to seeming like someone you know, but you don't know anyone like that because they just have that simple layer of perfection, that extra small indiscernible pizazz that makes them the swoon-worthy lead. The one you keep turning pages to find and the one that makes you wish the book never ends.
Wishing you a good night and sweet dreams involving a swoon-worthy leading man. Or perhaps you have someone pretty darn close right there lying next to you. And yes that's a shout out to my husband. And yes he reads these blog posts. ;)
How's it going? Are you stuck inside on this Monday morning? Did you make it out to work?
We are home. Snow everywhere = cooking = I am not a chef = but I've decided to take a brand new approach to cooking…MORE on all of that SOON.
Working on a new cooking post that will be up as soon as it is ready.
Hope you're all doing well and happy (snowy) Monday.
Here's how it looks outside…just like a blank page...
(UPDATE: I left this blank on purpose). I ran it by my husband because I wasn't entirely sure how it went over. His response: "I was looking for an image. Okay…now I see where you're going with it." Hence, my update! Sorry for any confusion.
Quiet night. Snow everywhere. Happy Friday, all. Stay safe and warm.
********Jessica******** (those are supposed to represent snowflakes) ;)
Becoming Mrs. Walsh I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Xo.
