"Jessica Gordon wonders about how much of authors’ own experiences end up in their work." Thanks to Steph at Chick Lit Club Connect for featuring my post today. I know that when I read a novel, I check out the author's bio and try to figure out how much of their real life crept into the story. Other than a few short lines of bio, it is hard to really know what goes on in an author's head... A mystery indeed! ;) Check out my post here. Thanks for reading! :) Jess

"Jessica Gordon does a great job of setting the scenes of this book in Washington D.C and in the places the characters travel to as well. I felt like I was with them many times through the book. It was easy to get involved in this novel like you had a personal stake in Sho’s decisions and plans." Thanks to Debbie at I'm Simply Debbie for reading and reviewing my book. Check out her take on the book here!
Hope you are enjoying the tour so far, thanks for following along! :) Jess "This story has intricately interwoven and complex layers that simply draws the reader in from the start and captivates you with an intriguing storyline full of drama and enough twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages." Thanks to Kathleen at Jersey Girl Book Reviews for hosting me today! I was lucky enough to have a guest post, review, and excerpt featured on her site. Very happy to share with all of you! Check it out the review here! Here is an excerpt from my post on in-laws: " I think everyone experiences in-laws differently. Some people consider their in-laws to be as important if not more important than their own family. Others can't stand them. The challenge of writing about in-laws is to really cover the many possibilities people have when joining new families." |
